About my Zumba Fitness® classes.
It really does not matter how well do you dance or if you can dance at all. Zumba is for anyone who can stad up and move, while no dance skills or experience is necessary. Unlike standard aerobic, where you learn the routine and gradually add some more moves, Zumba uses different moves during different parts of the song as the basis for its choreography. While many of the dance moves during my Zumba classes are pre-choreographed by Zumba, I often add my own flair, dance steps and even create entirely new routines for my class' favorite songs. Common moves involve elements of mambas, V-steps with exaggerated hips, cha-cha-chas and side touches.
How to prepare yourself for Zumba Fitness®
It's important to wear clothes that are light, breathable, moveable and will wick the sweat away. Because of how dynamic my classes are, the room can heat up fast, so consider dressing some layers that you can remove. Also importand is to have a pair of fitness supportive shoes that allow you to pivot your feet easily. Remember to bring your own bottle of water and maybe a towel as you might need one. Unlike some other fitness classes, during Zumba Fitness® with Kasia Jochimek you'll have ample time to use these items as there are short breaks in between the songs.
